Motivated by our Italian Experience. This linocut (taken from my sketchbook) represents much of what we saw in Sorrento.   Along the lower edge are the gentle waves from the Bay of Naples which we soaked up each day, above that is the decking and the archway leading from the tunnel caved out of the cliffs above, then lemon groves, the Hotel seated above and finally palm trees silhouetted against the sky.
